Default 2002 R/T Revlimiter help

I raced my truck down 1/8 track and on 3rd gear i keep hitting the revlimiter with overdrive off. has any one had this problem? just to let you know i recently got the superchips programer and have it tune to performance with raised revlimiter and RPM. im also running 93 octane fuel. im wondering if any has had the same problem and if any one thinks it might be a problem with the tranny. please if any one can help me. THX

Talked to a mechanic today~was told you well need a "Dyno" and a tech to re-point the ECU~So find a speed shop and talk with them~

You can typically adjust the transmission's TV cable which is attached to the throttle body linkage to help with this, although the only sure-fire way I've seen to get rid of it for good is to get a B&G Chrysler PCM flash which puts the rev limiters where they really should have been from the factory.
