Default what do i do??

so im sitting in a parking lot and i go to turn my lights on and the puller goes out farther than it should and i see a spart in the dash....at this time my dash lights, fog/parking lights, and my tail lights go out....i still have head lights tho...if i find the right spot in the switch i can have everything exept head lights...

so i went to the dealer the other day and i ordered a new switch and i put it in and it did not fix it...so now im out of $50 and have not fixed the problem....What do i do now??? did i short a wire or is there something else like a fuse or a relay?

Thanks so much for your time

I would have checked the fuses/relays before buying the new switch.

Check your owner's manual to see if those components are all on the same fuse. Chances are that you probably fried a fuse or two when the switch shorted. If not, check the wiring and make sure you haven't charred them or they aren't crossed up someplace.

Well first~Check the fuses~Chances are that if you have blown a fuse there are other things at work here~if you have after-market lighting or other items~That would be the place to start~
