RoughIdle, no codes. check engine on. Help
99 Dakota R/T Auto. Changed all the sensors, all the gaskets, plugs etc. Every idea I can think of except the computer itself has been done. It's only symptom is a rough idle, the truck runs well otherwise. The check engine light remains on all the time, and sometimes the engine smooths out, but I'm completely stuck for ideas. Anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks,
Tom

There should be a code in the system if your check engine light is on.
My distributor cap and rotor gave out at about 70,000 miles. I replaced them with parts from Advanced Auto. Those parts melted out of shape within a week. I bought the Dodge parts and all was well again.
