hey

want exactly do you mean, by to the floor, i have a club cab, and the seats are mounted to small brackets with rails, to move your seat forward and back.. its kinda low, but you can still put some stuff under there, like jumper cables.. but if your talking about the back, theres storage underneath the seats, its not quite to the floor, but several inches up..

I am talking about the back seat, it's not what you would really call a seat at all more like a covered ,paded board, when laid in the down postion it is just about two inches from the floor board .. when person sits back there there knees end up just under there chin...
Don't get me wrong I love my dakota / 4.7 liter 2 wd... very quick.. I had a 97 ram 1/2 ton w/ 5.9, 4x4 130,000 ran very strong until the flood took it away, made me very sick...

hey

well, yeah the rear seat are pretty much the same for the 2nd gen's dakota's, if someone is over 6 feet tall, you could say there knees are just under there chin, but when i have a buddy or two seating in the back they usualy face in, putting their legs, or haft a knee on the seat.. i have an 04 by the way...
