Default Blinker doing double time?

Left turn signal is doing double time all of a sudden...Both left rear and left front blinkers are functioning, but at a very fast speed.

I thought this meant that a bulb was out??? Neither is.

Any ideas?

TIA, Paul

Default RE: Blinker doing double time?

last time i had this problem was when my wiring harness for the blinker was cracked. The result was incredibly fast blinker on right turn singel but regular speed on left turn singel (the lights on the dash alos flashed accoreding to how the outside blinkers flashed) also when i put my 4 ways on it would blink the right side then the left side out of sequance like a emergency vehicel would....... allthought i did rather like this feature lol. but ya it turned out the harness was cracked nothing big.

Hey Titan...Can you offer a bit more info??? Where is the harness that cracked? How was the repair made? R&R or DIY fix?

TIA, Paul

It could be a dummy light... It blinks faster because there is less resistance in the system due to a burnt out singal bulb.
