Default Just wondering...

Hey, guys. I am looking into buying 01 Dakota Quad cab 4x4. And my question is can I fit my 2 JL 12" speakers under the backseat in this truck? Is there a box made that will fit perfectly under the backseat to hold 12's? BTW heres the truck I'm looking at. Its close to me but the price is gonna have to come down a bit. http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...ler_id=1043621

Thanks in advance. -Tyler

Quad cab, no. Nothing of any importance fits under the seat. You could store a thin first aid kit, tow chain, flares, stuff of that nature under there.

i dont think you could put a 12" JL under there but pioneer makes a sub that would fit

i have 2 of them in my RC dakota and it sounds AMAZING. the only bad thing about them is they need a lot of power to run them. i have a hifonics zx1000 runing both of them and it sounds great.

Still wouldn't fit under the QC rear seat. You might be able to fit a pair of shallow 8's behind the back seat, if you don't care about ever folding the bottoms up. Or under each front seat. Might look into buying OEM subs out of a Subaru or something. They're 6" drivers and not a lot of power, just enough to add a little bit of oomph.

I just installed a new 10" Infinity Reference Series subwoofer behind the back seat of my quad cab, took some doing, and I can't fold the seat anymore, but folding the seat back was never really useful at all.
