Engine oil flushing before syn oil?
So im going to switch my 3.7l over to syn oil and im wondering if i should do a engine oil flush first....
I have 30,000km on it and have done oil changes every 3 months and i beleve the engine to be pretty clean and i only use chevron fuel.

This may be a dumb question, but what is the real advantage to running synthetic oil. I mean it costs so much. Does it keep your engine from wearing out as fast or what?
Thanks

Well i live in vancouver canada and i do alot of downhill mountain bike riding, when i switched my front suspension fork oil over to motul synthetic oil made in france(AKA the best stuff to use in forks) it was a night and day diffenence in performance! So i figure that in a complex machine like a engine the benifits would be huge as there is less heat and friction in the engine!
no you dont have to flush it. But what you may wana do is change the oil slightly earlyer then you normaly would to get all the old oil out but really isnt all that nessacry from what iv read.
