Default Sudden Power Loss? Can anyone help me?

Ok within the last two weeks my truck has seemed to get "sluggish feeling" under acceleration. I know for a fact it is not running to its potential because, not only can I feel a difference, but I just got my *** KICKED by some loser Nissan pickup, one which I normally would have fried. Also, when I floor it in second or third gear the truck revs slowly to about 3,000 rpm and then it kicks in like its turbocharged or something. Could it be the TPS? Fuel pump? Any help is appriciated.

For the record I have a '99 with a 5.2 and a 5-speed. Minor mods. This is unusual for the truck to do so its got me concerned. THanks for the help in advance!

Oh and another thing is it is very reluctant to start when its warm. All my ignition and electrical is fine and I dont know what is causing these hard starts. Thanks again!

I would guess it could be the TPS. On the 1st Gen Dak's the voltage coming from the TPS got greater as the throttle opened. (200 millivolts closed at idle setting, less than 4.8 volts at WOT, and of course, increases smoothly).
It could also be the MAP sensor.
