2001 4x4 front axleshaft replacement
Hi, Can anyone give me step by step instructions on replaceing the left side front axle shaft on a 2001 4x4? I looked in the hayes book but doesn't explain it very well. I would think the spindle would have to come off for clearence purposes but the don't mention it. Thanks for the help

Major PITA.
I want to say when we were tinkering with my buddy's that we got the shaft out complete without removing the spindle, but I could be mistaken. And that was a D44.
