Got some recalls done at the stealership and they gave me a list of things to get fixed. most i new about and are minor so im not worrying about them but the new ones i am kind of concerned about.
they said my rack and pinion has a lot of play and needs replacedand the high pressure power steering hose is leaking
they said the hose was like $150 and the rack and pinion part was $288 plus $25 for a couple of bushings.
are these projects i can do myself with the right tools and a manual or are these too big for do it yourselfers
a friend and i have done a lot of work on cars so we are somewhat experienced.

$150 for the hose? BUAHAHAHA

Bushing kit = $15 I think,
The rack and pinion is $275 though.
It's a job you should be able to do just fine, but there are little things like tie rod ends and whatnot that may give you trouble, then you'll have to get it aligned.
