Default Intake

Has anyone made a custom intake for a R/T? I want to run a filter in the inner fender well for colder air. Anyone have suggestions.

I saw someone use flexible dryer vent hose and a chrome curve from a diesel hehaust tip. Good luck

Any air inlet made of metal tubing is going to conduct heat straight through from the engine compartment to the incoming air stream. Your "cold" air isn't cold any more.

I have the Airaid CAI system it mounts on top of the stock air box and seals aginst the hood, it gets the air from the inside of the fender like you want to do this makes for a clean easy install and no hot air from the engine or radiator gives a nice HP boost and great flow sound when you punch it I am very happy with mine....best online price and free shipping I found was with http://www.airaidsales.com
