Default 1998 Steering

I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4. It has well over 100,000 miles on it. When I turn the steering wheel in either direction from dead center, it makes a clicking noise. I believe its the steering pump. I felt both the pump and motor while a friend turned the steering wheel. I could not feel anything with the motor, but the pump felt like it wasn't catching. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh, yeah. it has the 4.7 in it.

check you control arm bushings, i had the same problem. dont let them go to long otherwise it strips the splines on the frame and alignment will keep popping out. needless to say my control arms are now welded in place.
