Default turbonator?

hey guys, i was wondering if this turbonator thing really works. one of my buddies said he looked at getting one for his Mitsubishi Lancer, but it turned out to be a rip off from what he found out about it. does anyone have one? also, does anyone know how big of wheels can fit on my 99 dakota sport? i believe the torsion bars have been cranked to raise it, but i am new to trucks and am not entirely sure how to tell. thanks guys.

Default RE: turbonator?

I don't know if the turbonator works and I've seen many types out there that fit in different locations and one manufacturer even puts them in a series. I have cranked my torsion bars and gave it a body lift. This made room for 285/75r16s (33"). For just a torsion bar crank, I would stick to a 265/75r16, unless you have 15s. If you have 16" rims with rear disc brakes, do not try a smaller rim, the rear calipers will get in the way. It is recommended that whenever you want to do a tire upgrade without modifying your clearence, you find the largest optional tire size the manufacturer offered and up the second number (the sidewall ratio) but one increment.

i have 15's right now, and i think it has a body lift too, whats the easiest way to tell if it has a lift kit, and/or the torsion bar is cranked?
