I got a Flowmaster 40 on my 2003 SXT Dakota, he cut out the stock muffler and added a chrome tip for $151.95 plus tax, I know the stainless would of added like 40.00 more and then in your case 2 new pipes and tips, most all the shops around here do the duals like you are wanting for $300.00 but that is with the econo chrome tips not stainless so I'd say you are getting a good deal.

I have a 1999 dakota sport 3.9V6. I went and put the 50 series on because it is a V6. The 40 series will make it sound like a bumblebee in a can. Mine sounds awesome. Also i dumped it behind the cab with two pipes, like the Ford Lightening and it looks great. As for the cost, i got the muffler, pipe, chrome tips, and installation for 250.
