I have a few suggestions for ya in ur quest for power... 1st is find or make an intake for the engine, 2nd redo the exhaust to make it less restrictive..performance muffler and such, and if you want to spend the money Jet performance makes a module for ur truck. I have heard mixed reviews from the chip, so read over all of that. Also there is a forum I know of that specializes in dakotas/durangos, im sure they could help you out. Go to dakota-durango.com.

There really isnt too much in the way of parts for a 2.5L, so as a last resort I would say look for a 3.9L, or 5.2L engine for the truck.
