Default 3.9 exhaust

I know that this topic has been covered before but I have a 2002 slt 3.9L that has no mods yet. I was gonna get a complete exhaust kit but after lookin around I decided I am just gonna get a new muffler and a new tip . I am only 16 , but I have a job and money . I need some help on which muffler and the size of the muffler and tip. Please help me. Thanks

Best to leave it stock. Stock size is 2.5" tip (unless they changed it from my 98 to your 02). Why start doing mods and end up with a vehicle that you will need to fix on a regular basis? Been there, done that. Not worth it especially at your age. Being stranded because a modified car decided to act up isnt fun.

I'm going to be putting on a 35" glasspack on my '03 3.9L truck. They are cheap and it will give me the exhaust note and noise level I'm looking for.

You must have a special 3.9L cuz every dodge Ive heard with em on sounded like straigh crap. Glasspacks are a low rumble idling, then when they get some RMPs runnin its loud as ill get out. They also get louder the hotter the muffleri gets.

What configuration will you be going with? One in/one out through a single or One in/one out through a dual? What part number flowmaster 40?
