Default Axle Swap and the Odometer

I swapped a Dana 44 in the front and a Dana 60 in the rear of my 98 Dakota. The stock odometer pickup was on the ring gear in the rearend. Has anyone done this or a similar swap and gotten the odo to work.

Oh snap!

Give us the pictures! That's exactly what I'd like to do with mine (if you did a solid front anyway)

I just wish I had the Saginaw box up front instead of a rack and pinion.

I know there are people running around with D60's out back. Here's an article from 2000: http://www.4x4wire.com/feature/99dakota/solidaxleswap/

You could try emailing the author and getting contact info for the guy who built the truck.

There's gotta be a speed sensor port on the transfer case, perhaps you could get the right part and reroute the wires?
