dakota sat 1 year, got running, gauges dead idiot lights all on, runs fine whats up?
98 dakota sat for a year , I put new battery in it and got it running and it runs fine but none of the gauges work and all of the idiot lights are on, I mean everyone of them. The odomiter is flashing at 118,002 and never changes even after driving 40 miles. Anyone got a clue on the solution?

my brother in law had that problem with a durango, it was one of the chassis grounds under his dash. i bet yours got corroded from sitting or something like that.
