i have a 97 2wd dakota and dont know wether to makea prerunner or drop it 2/4 and haw much lift can i get for it i have only found 3" kits and 2" coil spring spacers but i kinda want more lift then that my chevy has 4"s and it seens like a big difference then what my dakota will be with 5 if i can use all the parts together
i've always thought it to be pointless to raise a 2wd truck go for lowering it and put a body kit on it make a street racer besides you said you already got a lifted truck so go for something new why do u need 2?
personally I would lower it... not because its better, but for the fact that it is easier and cheaper than making a prerunner. In the end though, it is what you want to do with the truck.
As I see it, you could pick up some R/T springs for cheap and lower it and improve handling at the same time
i was going to lift and pre run my 04 kota, but i ended up lowering it w/ a 2/3 kit. and i like the look. And my dad has a 02 quad cab 4x4 so i have a lil bit of both. it also depends on what you like to do and where you live. and if you like speed or dirt
