Is it a suspension lift kit or a body lift (2"or 3")? Is your ride a 4x4 (makes a difference)? I put a 2" body lift by myself in one day. The biggest problems were relocating the radiator fan shroud and adjusting the four wheel drive shifter.

3" lift, wow, that will really bring the body up. Your radiator will now be 3" above center of the fan so it may affect cooling some. You'll have to use the steering shaft extender which is a pain and probably have to extend hose to gas tank. Those front and rear bumper relocators aren't much fun either and you want be able to tow off the the bumper.
You might want the PVC strips to hide the big gap between the bed and the frame. Send pics when you are done, should look great.
