I just got my 2002 3.9L dodge dakota club cab sport and I was wondering how to disconnect the negative on the battery and if i add new parts to it will it void the warrenty of the truck. I know you need a crestent wrench and i know whats positive and negative.

Why don't people post a signature? Sure would be easier to know what kind of vehicle, what year, what specs, what mods, etc., etc.

What does it matter fitzer it's a battery cable HAHA! Ok what you do is get a crescent wrench that fits the nut on your negative battery cable (the negative cable is black the positive cable is red). Loosen the nut and wiggle the wire right off. There are also + and - marks on the battery so that you know which cable needs to go where. Simple stuff. Also if I were you I would contact the company that your warranty is through to see what you can mod and what not to in order to preserve your warranty.
