ok so does anyone think a throttle body spacer would do much good on a 5.2 dakota. what would be the gains from having it?

well i dont plan on buying one i would make my own just like my dad did on his GTO but it was carborated and i understand how it worked on it. would it make any difference whatsoever on the throttle body? even the slightest amount cause it will be basically free

the throttle body spacer and cold air intake made a big difference on my 3.9 it lugged a little bit but more mid range it seems like but has no other performance mods done to it

yeah but are you sure it wasnt just the cold air intake making the difference and the throttle body spacer wasnt just a paperweight?

The throttle body spacers don't make any difference on fuel injected engines. They are designed more to work with carbed vehicles. I wouldn't bother with buying or making one. Save the money and get another mod.

I ditto what everyone else has said many times on this forum.....waste of money, waste of time. I fell for all the HP and MPG hype BUT I might as well have tossed 80 hard earned bucks out the window!!!

i got 21 mpg after i installed both the spacer and the intake as opossed to my 19 with out them
