Default 33x11.5x15

At the moment i have a pair of cheap all terrians 31x10.5x15 wrapped around 15x8 american eagle racing rims. The tries rub at the moment but I am getting my dakota lifted 3 inches, and after that I wanted bigger tires and good ones. Will a pair of 33X11.5 rub on a 3 inch body lift. An what mud tires would you guys recemmend.

i am running 33x12.5x15 on mine. you shouldnt have a problem besides minor trimming to make it work. as far as mudders, i would think about that. are you really going to be doing nothing but mudding? because that is all that they are good for! a daily driver with mudders always cracks me up because i know they are going to spend another $1000 on tires in a year. mudders are not designed for everyday driving on asphalt. not only that, but they dont do sudden stops or driving in the rain. you should think about an aggressive all terain. i went with the BFG All Terain T/A KO. killer off road capabilities and tread wear of at least 60k miles.

They will rub with stock rims. I don't know what the offset is on your Eagles rims, but if they don't have 1 -2 inches of offset the tires will rub. I have a two inch body lift and cranked the torsion bars some. If you have 4x4 and crank the torsion bars the wheels are actually closer to the frame due to increased angle of front suspension. I run 5/16" spacers and my 32x11.5 BFGs will rub the frame in front with the steering turned hard left or right. It isn't a problem driving down the road, but tight turns when parking will cause rubbing. I think "virused" is 4x2 plus he runs 1.5" spacers if I remember that correctly.

Dakota 31's are rubbing on you? Aren't those the stock size? I would agree with virused unless you are trailering that thing to take it offroading I would go with some A/T's. I have the same tires as virused 31's though and these things are monsters on and offroad. They are perfect for a DD.

The tires werent rubbing on the stock 15x7 but when the eagles(15x8) were put on they rub when I make sharp turns. Well i will deffinently go with the BFG All Terain T/A KO. I am only 16 and this is my first truck so I am not really an expert on this stuff so thanks for the help.

My first car was a 1954 Chevy, straight 6 with 3 on the tree. At least twice a day the shift arms would lock up and I'd have to lift the hood and wiggle then free with a crow bar. But it got me to school and my job at Piggly Wiggly. We wuz poor but we wuz happy.
