Default Noise at idle, Tensioner?

When i start the truck and look under the hood i can see the tensioner moving back and forth, anybody elses do this or should it not be moving? Noise is a loud groaning. Truck runs fine but the noise is annoying. Thought of it being a bearing in the fan but not sure. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I do not see mine moving it has a steady smooth flow keeping an even tension.

A loud groaning can be a few things such as low power steering fluid for instance. It might be a good idea to replace the tensioner as well( its pretty easy)

Do you know how to get step by step info on this procedure? My tensioner also moves slightly, and the pulley wheel does not spin, causing it to squeak. I have already purchased a new pulley wheel, but wonder if the entire tensioner mechanism needs replaced? Anybody?
