ok just got a worked 50mm TB for my 3.9 v6. anybody have any tips for hooking up the original tb cabel to the v8 t-body. i'd like to use the v6 cable but not sure if i can make it work. any body do this yet?? or do i have to get a v8 cabe.

 

Can you replace the entire butterfly shaft on the 50mm TB with the one from your v6? If you remove the butterflies the shaft slides right out.

 

the butterfly on the new throttle body has been smooth and flattened out so i don't want to put the stock butterfly in the new TB. i've heard that there is a way to rig it up to the old TB cabe, but don't have any clue how to.
