rhoads lifters?
hey. i have a 98 dakota 3.9 2wd. i saw that a company makes rhoad lifters for my truck engine. have yall heard anything about them? supposedly they would increase power by 25%. so just wanting yall thoughts on this. thanks!
Get ahold of Steve00Ram360, he posts alot in the second generation ram section and the cummins diesel section. He had them in his motor for a while I think. I doubt they could make a 25% power increase though, thats alot. Probably if you haven't already start with the basics, like intake and exhaust and a programmer if they make one for your truck.
Haha. You won't see any significant gains.
It's "UP TO" 25% more low end torque, according to their website. Basically it's for engines with RADICAL cams that have little poor idle vacuum and low RPM power. That's how they can claim the UP TO part.
On a MILD stock cam, my guess is that you're not going to see jack.

I'd heard of them before, but this was the first I actually looked into them. Sounds like a great idea for those running bumpy cams but who still need to be able to drive on the street. I wonder what it would do for my 5.0.
