EVAP leaks will prove almost impossible to find....Good Luck. You can try the gas cap for piece of mind, but if that doesn't get it I would just go to AutoZone perodically and get it scanned just to make sure that is the only reason the CEL is on.

It might be the gas cap seal.
Disconnected, misrouted, loose, damaged, cracked, etc. hoses or componets could cause this.
There should be a vacuum diagram on the underside of your hood or some place visable in the engine compartment.
It could be a evap system item (like the purge solenoid) but I'm not going to say "this" or "that" is the problem because I have no experiance with these new-fangled systems.

99% of the time the 456 is a loose gas cap. Take it off, inspect the seal, and put it back on.

I'd start by taking it off and putting it back on, making sure it clicks a few times.
Clear the code if you can, see if it comes back.

i agree with horatio. put the gas cap back on firmly, disconnect your battery for 15 minutes, reconnect and see if it comes back.

I had this error code about a week ago. I tried tightening the gas cap and disconnecting the battery and no luck. I found a very small cracked hose right by the evap purge under the fuse box and another very very small one under the truck by the evap canister. I sealed both and the cel went away. Been about a week and it hasn't came back. Hope this proves helpful.
