Ok, I have the 3.9L.. I've been researching mods and aftermarket for it and while doing this I discovered that my trans, engine mounts work with a 318/360. So, I looked up my prices for V6 performance and prices on swapping a V8. About the same price, pluss the V8 will have plennnnty more power.

So I was wondering if any of you guys have any advice or tell me your thoughts about it. Pluss witch engine should I go with, im not sure about the 360, but i'd really rather that engine, just hafta find a ram 360 5speed flywheel and a good clutch for it, hopefully my trans wont mind all that power with that stuff.

Any of you have done this before or know anyone that has swapped these? Pluss I think it'd be pretty cool with a 360 + Manual Trans

if you found that the tranny is the same, then you should be ok... just make sure you get a manual 360 and not an auto, otherwise you may have balancing issues. you'll also need the wiring harness and pcm. shouldnt be that hard, time consuming though but not hard. download the service manual from the top of the forum and study the wiring diagrams to make sure you splice anything you need to correctly.
