Default leaking problem

ok heres whats going on. i put a three inch body lift on my truck a while back. with that my gas filler neck has to be streached a lil bit. its length is fine. it fits on with no problem. the only thing is is when im pumping gas at the station it leaks from the seal. (right were the neck meets the tank). i dunno if im just not getting a good seal or what. it doesnt really take much for the neck to come off. all it is is a plastic collar that u pull back on and it comes off. ne one know if there might be a way to fix that or should i look at getting a new filler neck thats a lil longer or what.

it definately had to break from, flexing.... i suggest by using an epoxy.... heavily around the leak... make sure its smooth like it came o.e.m..... and pait it black.. so when its being inspected.... it wont catch the mechanic's eye while hes looking under the truck...

i was thinking the same thing. before applying the epoxy, make sure you scuff up the areas you are wanting to join and clean off any solvents, oils or gas. also, make sure you get a strong, 2-part epoxy. you will thank yourself later.
