slicks

Has anyone put slicks on the dak? the tires i have now are 255/55r17's. How wide is the actual rim? is it 9"? Thanks for all the help guys!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they are 8" max. Probably only 7"? I'm sure it'd help if you told us what truck and what rims you got.

sorry, its a 99 dakota r/t. 5.9L engine and extended cab. the rims are stock.
