Ok so I got the Small Evap Leak, removed/replaced my gas cap and reset the light with an OBD2 tool. It came back promptly. Did it again after filling up again, it came back again. The third time I used the stylus from my palm pilot and I poked and worked around the little check valve in the gas cap. It seemed to have been a little off kilter and by pushing it in/out several times it sort of reset itself. Two days later and the CEL hasn't come back on.


Anybody getting the small evap leak that won't go away want to give that a shot and see if you have any luck, instead of just buying a new gas cap?
