will a 5.2 or 5.9 cold air intake work on a 3.9? i have a 98 single cab dakota. i heard something about this...just wanting yalls opinion....

same boat as you pal.. i mentioned this a while ago... most likely it can be done with little or no modification to the installation.. if you do it before me man, lemme know how it went... if i do it before u.. il give u a heads up

you may run into some problems because of where the TB sits in relation to the TB on a v8. meaning, you might have to "extend" the intake tube to get it to work. otherwise I think the tube will fall short of the shield.
