Hi All,

Got quite a dillemma on me hands here, on my 2000 V6 Dakota the rear axle has started leaking from the pinion seal (I say leak, I mean flood), I've got a seal coming tomorrow, but what I need is some advice on how to install it.....

I know in the diff there's a collapsible spacer, now if I manage to acurately measure the backlash with me torque wrench I should be ok and not need to change it right???

And has anyone got any tips? Normally I'd leave it to the guys at work but they're not free and I need the truck for the weekend (perfect timing as usual! lol)
