no oil presure!!!!!
I would get access to a mechanical gauge (which will plug into where the sending unit is, to the right [passenger side] of the distributor cap).
Naturally, if the pressure is good, either the sending unit, the wiring, or the gauge itself is bad.
If the pressure is bad, it would probably be: filter (eh... I think their supposed to go into bypass if they get too low of a pressure), pump is bad, or a clogged pump screen.
Of course, being low/empty on oil will cause this as well. And, naturally, you will want to run the engine as little as needed to test before replacing anything as to not cause too much damage to the engine.

one quick check is to have a look at the sending unit next to the distributor... if there is oil on the top where the connector goes it is the sender. if you yank off the connector, look down into the socket... when they go bad they can start to leak from there.
