4x4 lights in dash dont work

Default 4x4 lights in dash dont work

my 4x4 works fine but the light in the dash doesnt come on, sometimes the 4wheel part time light flickers when engauged but the 4wheel fulltime light never comes on im sure its just a bad connection ,but someone told me the switch is in the tranny and its not worth fixing do you guys have any ideas thanks

All I know is that when my switch lights quit working, so did my 4wd.

I have the same issue with the light. One day it just stopped working. I think the light must be out b/c when I start up the truck all the other guage light come on. My 4wd still works fine.

mine does the same. my light doesnt come on but the 4wd works perfect. the light would have came in handy acouple months ago when I was pullin a buddy out of the mud and I forgot to turn off my 4wd. I never noticed until the next day that it was still in 4wd.[:@] I wonderd why I couldnt spin my tires that night
