Default Underdrive pulleys

Well when i bought by truck, it had alot of work done, to it and i was wondering if there is anyways to check if they installed underdrive pulleys. Its an Auto trans, if i stop and turn on A/C and radio and set my radiar to show voltage will it drop to 12v. I saw this in another thread. Im just looking for a way to see if they have been installed.

Its a 2000 Dakota R/T

easiest way would be to check the belt since its a different length for an under drive pulley. if its length is longer then stock you have an underdrive. you could also measure the pulley itself. my stock pulley was like 7.5" diameter and the underdrive is like 6"

i believe the belt should be longer just by about 2-3% due to the fact the pulleys are taking up less space on the drive system therefore the belt length needs to compensate for the loss in diameter in the pulley. somebody correct me if im wrong.

yup, the belt is longer, mine is like 2-3 inches longer then stock. regardless of what motor you have, an under drive pulley will need a longer belt then whatever belt came stock
