Default Rear end sitting lower

I have an '04 Dakota SXT 2WD. Recently the rear end looks like it sits a little lower than it did when I got it. I don't drive it hard at all. I liked the way it looked before when the rear was an inch or so higher than the front. Any ideas on what it could be? And no...I don't have anything heavy in the bed (all I have is a fishing rod in there).

maybe in time the rear springs have settled but an inch is alot .
if you have hauled alot of heavy stuff you might want to dbl check and make sure you haven't broken a spring ,stranger things have happened

Never mind guys...I think it's all in my head. I've been wanting to get my truck lifted a lot recently and I think I'm just getting antzy haha. I looked at it today and it sits the same. Thanks for the help though!
