Default puttin truck away for winter. what should I do?

Ok. so I'm puttin my truck away for the winter next week and I just wannna see what you guys think I should do to it before I put it away. and what sould I put inside of it too keep the mice out of it. I rent a shop out in the country, so in the winter thats when all the mice come in. last winter the got into my 84 fith ave and ripped the seats all apart.[:@] but they never got into the dakota. so this winter I dont wanna take any chances. I've tried moth ***** in some of my other vehicles but they stink so much[:'(] and it takes forever to get the smell out. I've been told to put steel wool in my my exhaust so they dont go in there and make a nest. and I'm gonna change my oil before I put it away.

Is there anything else I should be doing?

yes put the truck up on blocks so the tires dont get flat spots, or if you have junk rims and tires that fit the truck swapp them out. gas some gas stabilizer to save the gas from going bad

in my trusty mopar street truck book it says- remove all the plugs and put a tea spoon of oil in the plug hole then put them back in after you rotate the engine withe the starter, drain the water from the radiator and block, disconnect both battery leads, drain gas from tank and induction system, if your lift is .550 or more remove the rocker arm assemblies and store seperatly so springs don't lose their load and it allows valves to be closed to keep moisture out of the cylinders, put plywood under it if it really cold where you are.

ok, I am gonna put some fuel stabalizer in about 1/2 tank of fuel (so then in the summer I can fill the rest of the tank up to mix it all up). I'll put wood under the tires to keep it off the cold concrete. wrap up my intake and seal up my exhaust. diconnect the battery, and Im gonna start it every couple of months and let it warm up.

some one told me to put irish spring soap in your vehicle to keep mice out. is that true? cause I hate the smell of moth *****.[:'(]
