Default Max 2WD Tire Size

I just bought an extended warranty for my 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT 2WD. Unfortunately, the warranty will void if I do a body lift (trust me it will...I went back and forth with the company with no avail). I still want my poor little 2WD truck to sit higher. I was thinking of increasing my 255/65/R16's to 255/70/R16's (29" to 30") just to get an extra inch or so. Will I have any rubbing problems? Any other suggestions?

you can fit 31's easy, that's what i had on my 2wd i still have 31" in the rear but i went down to 30 in the front because of price and i blew one and i couldn't afford the 31's
but when i got the money i got 31's for the rear
it sits pretty cool now so i'll keep the staggered until i drop it

you might be able to do a susp. lift, as it is easy to revert to original
or you could trash the warranty... J/K

31's? I seriously doubt that...how much trimming did you have to do? That's what I'm trying to avoid...TRIMMING! haha. I could trash the warranty....you mind wiring me $900? hahaha. But do you think 255/70/R16's all around would be ok? How would it look?

I'm thinking of going from 255/65s to 275/60's on my truck. The 275/60s should fit ok.

31's should fit without trimming. anything larger than that thought and you will need to lift and trim.
