Default need help diagnosing a driveline clunk

Whenever i pop the clutch a litte i get a clunk underneeth the truck. Its either comming from the rear end or the transfer case. I was wondering if it could be a loose chain in the transfer case. I can rotate the front drive shaft VERY much while the truck is in gear. Would a loose chain cause this type of problem? I have considerd that it might be play in the rear differential. When i let of the gas or step on the gas hard while driving it jerks a little, more then normal. Any one got any ideas to what this could be?

My drivetrain did a lot of clunking when the plenum gasket was leaking. As soon as I took my foot off the gas at pretty much any speed I'd get a loud clunk. The idle would go up and down 300 rpm or so at a stop also. Fixed the intake leak and no more clunk- except sometimes in 1st gear usually on a hill at about idling speed when I push in the clutch but it's done that since it was new.
