underdrive pulley
So whats the diffrence from the set of pulleys that cost 250 and the one pulley that cost 50 bucks.. what do the other pulleys do? If its not big deal i might as well get the 50dollar one. Im going to put pulleys on mine also, ive been wondering this for awhile.
I dont use A/C that much, windows are always down, but i do have a system, but only using a 400wat amp.. my lights do dim on heavy bass songs, so i guess ill just go with the 50$ pulley, seeing that i dont need the others.
wow, i had no idea they were that well known. i suppose if the A/C isn't a problem then just the Crank pulley should be good. and for $50's you can't beat it. thanks for the info. also, how noticeable were the gains?

I think under certain conditions the alternator pulley might be needed.......Super large system and/or large amount of add on equipment...ie...alot of lights, winch, compressor. I wonder what would be better, alternator pulley or heavy duty alternator.
I want to leave the A/C pulley out of the mix or remove the A/C altogether. I am just worried about power loss more then anything.

I replaced the pulleys on my D. I bought the set from Jet Performance. The pulleys installed very easily and the instructions included the size belt I needed; too bad it didnt fit! haha. I took the a/c out of my D and I ended up buying the belt from advance auto parts. The stock belt for the D without a/c fit perfectly.

Just specify your make and model and there's a list of parts available. I bought the underdrive pulleys and also the PCM chip.
