Default Shifting when its cold out...

I bought my 99 4x4 v6 5 sp. about 7 months ago, and have recently noticed a problem when it gets below about 30. It has a hard time starting, but it always turns over right away. When i start to drive, even if i let it warm up for a couple minutes, it sputters and shakes when i shift gears and bogs down. Also, it is almost impossible to move the stick sometimes, i have to force it in and out of gear. Anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Check your transmission fluid level. It almost sounds like your clutch is about to take a big 'ol fat number two.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I know very little about cars (im learning slowly). How do I check the fluid in a manual? Theres no stick like in an auto...is there? Also, what can i do to stop my tranny from dropping? Or should i just try to sell it asap....which i have been thinking about because of all the repairs i have had to do.

there is a plug on the side of the transmission you undo it and stick your finger in the hole to feel the fluid level if the fluid is just below the hole your fine. also if you clutch goes out its not a big deal you can replace it. its just part of owning a manual transmission i think to fix it if you clutch goes would be around 200-300 dollars the jamming gears though BAD your gonna tear your tranny out get a new clutch asap

wow 200-300 really? i thought it was gonna be more like 6 or 7. would a local tranny shop be better then the dodge dealership? i have brought it to the dodge place here and to be honest think they are horrible...and pricey
