first let me say that im glad i found this site. i have a 97 dakota sport v-6. just had the cat changed and now my check engine light came on. i did the on off thing to find my code. it came across the odometer,.. chec 950 999. it didnt have a p in front of it. i looked at my haynes manual, and there was nothing. the ram guys said that, that was how there codes came up.
p.s. took it back to the dealer when light came on. they said they couldnt find a code. any ideas?!

it goes off after awhile and then comes back on. i took it to advanced auto and they couldnt get a code either. while i was there i talked to a guy that had a 99 durango, he said he doesnt have p codes either just #s. anyway i cleaned the throttle body, changed the pcv valve and am putting on an idle air control vave. the reason being is that the damn thing wont sit and idle without your foot on the gas. ill let ya know if this works.
well i put it on, and nothing! it wont turn over at all. i even put some gas in the tb. i saw in dodgetruckworlds forum under computers, that 950 and 999 have something to do with the throttle high sensor. ive tried finding it again but this puter is to slow. the engine seems like it wants to turn over but isnt getting fuel. but you can really smell gas coming from the tb. and yes, it is still showing no codes on the scanner. i wouldnt believe it if i hadnt seen the scanner myself! any ideas?
im not sure if i understand these. code 950 auto shift manual control circuit. 999 shift solenoid F control circut high. i got them from dodgetruckworld under computers, page 4 codes.
