Default Alarm system Problem

My 2004 dakota 4x4 quad cab has an alarm system that has gone crazy. When ever i open any doors or drive it all my lights will flash and a little blue led light goes off on the steering column. I need help on fixing it.
Thanks

Default RE: Alarm system Problem

I am guessing this system is not stock, or if it is, I have never heard of this setup. You will need to find your user manual (I am now assuming you don't have one for it) in which case you will need to find the brain of the alarm. These are typically found under the steering column or anywhere below the dash on the drivers side. If you do not know how to remove the brain, take it to a car audio/alarm specialist. If you do not know what the brain is hooked up to, you might not be able to start your truck when you remove it.
