i did a search for info about changing the dist cap and rotor and didn't come up with much. somebody told me a good cap to go with but i didn't write it down and now i can't find it. i'm just at 90k on my 01 3.9 and changing the cap and rotor for the 2nd time, so who knows the best dist cap to use??. want to put in new wires also but have heard that some of them are too big. so any info on wires would help out alot also. thanks.....

 

accel, whatever. brand isn't all that important with cap/rotor, but you want one with BRASS contacts, not aluminum.

 

I changed my cap, rotor, plugs and wires a couple months a go. who would have thought that they were all origional at 200,000kms[:@] the cap and rotor was soo corroded and all the plug wires snapped off when I was taking them off.

I just went to napa and got all my stuff. it was pretty good stuff.

mine for some reason burns through em every 45k or so. i can't imagine going 200kms's. does that mean u have 45 thousand miles on ur truck?? just kindding . stuff, stuff can be good, some one tell me the good stuff i want and need. what a good cap for the 3.9 mag engine?? and wires!!!
