wondering what the best sounding and performing exhaust is for a 02' 3.9l ext. cab for $400 or less. was looking into gibson.

Any auto parts store/muffler shop. You can buy it on eBay. You will have to have someone install it unless you feel comfortable doing the install yourself.

is it just a muffler or is it the whole system, what else should i use if it only a muffler

if i got the muffler what other piping should i use? stock or aftermarket?

you can just replace your stock muffler with the flowmaster.

I don't remember, as it was a long time ago when I did mine, but I believe that the flowmaster muffler is shorter than the stock muffler. I simply bought some 2.5" pipe and ran it back from the cat, installed the muffler, and then dropped it out behind the muffler with a 1.5' section of pipe.
