I got my power windows finished and they all work beautifully... I finally got around to replacing my blower resistor that was busted (factory malfunction) so it only worked on the highest setting.. cost me 13 bucks from the dealer and about 2 minutes to change it, now my heat/AC works perfectly. I also finished mounting the rest of my LED's in the cab.

Next projects for the rest of my vacation are to get a flowmaster 40 installed, and to possibly switch the dash lights from green to blue.

Does anyone have the flowmaster 40 on their truck? I have a 3.9 v6.. how does it sound? Whats the difference between the regular 40 and the super 40?

Also, another thing i was wondering.. what's the difference between the SXT and the SLT models, specifically? I know its just more luxeries and comfort features.. but what are the options?

The super 40 muffler is supposed to have a lower interior resonance than the reg. 40 series.

as for the difference between the SXT and SLT models...I have no idea.

 

sxt is the bottom of the barrel. only comes with the 6 banger, slt has better options as far as motor and tranny. heated seats power, control console, better towing just a better truck. same frame and stuff, but more goodies

 

Well it is true the SXT package does not have the power options it is far from "bottom of the barrel", depending on the year of Gen2 it had V6 or V8 auto with OD, A/C, bucket seats and many of the other upgrades that the stock Dakota does not have.
