So I am watching ebay for a JBA y-pipe. One on there sitting at 70 bucks, not bad....so I watch and plan on bidding when the time is right, about an hour before auction end the bidding starts, I was willing to go to 100 bucks with the 30 dollar shipping. It goes over my mark real quick, which thats the breaks, but then I notice it keeps going and going. By auction end the winner bid 237.00 plus 30.00 shipping!! Crazy seeing is every dealer JBA lists for online purchase has them for under 200 shipped, one place has them for 160 shipped. a saving of over 100 dollars buying new over ebay prices. Just crazy I tell ya..........

 

Why don't you just pony up the extra $30 and buy them if you were already willing to go for $130?

 

I've only bought my 2" tbar keys from ebay, but that price is retarded. some people must not look anywhere else but there.

 

I wasn't actually like on the hunt for them. I just randomly look at ebay for cheap stuff like that. I was just flabbergasted to see someone pay more then the posted retail amount for an open box item. The guy even said new they would be 240, then someone bid that and paid 30 bucks shipping when most websites offer free shipping with order over 100 or so. I wasn't angry about it, thats ebay, it actually makes want to buy a few from the place I saw them for 160 and sell them on ebay for 240 lol.

I guess it depends on the item, onan ebay storethe same Bull Bars (chrome)I got for $199.00 plus 30.00 shipping I have seen people buy from retail sites and pay $435.00 plus shipping, so it goes both ways.
I always shop both and there are those newer items like lighting that seem to pop up on ebay long before you find them on the accessories sites.....I guess it goes back to the old line.....buyer beware.

 

I find all kinds of stuff on ebay for cheap, I have bought my rims, chrome exhaust tips, tail lights, K&N CAI,decals, and i am currently searching for some chrome running boards

 

$300??? Dang, you could get a whole header-back exhaust built for less than that.

 

Thats whatI am saying, I mean I know JBA stuff is expensive, but hell at least compare a price real quick. People....

 

Hey on those rims, what kinda backspacing you have on those?I like how they look wider then stock and am currently looking around for rims. What kind are they?
