i have a R3 built motor, and i have come to find out it doesnt have the bolt holes to mount the motor mounts that would fit into the frame of a 1999. i have waaayyyy to much money invested into the motor and i really need help or a how to,on going about installing this motor in between the frame rails. has anyone done this?? i didnt know that the LA 360 had completely different mounting locations than a 360 magnum. wish i would of done more research, but its tolate now.
now i have seen a compainy that sells a conversion kit from a 4 cylinder to v8, but its for 1st gens. i called and they couldnt help. so please can anyone help??

I dont really know too much about putting a LA motor into a 99. but I would go over to www.dakota-durango.com there is abunch of guys over there that do that kind of stuff.

 

old style motor mounts and weld up brackets. That's about it.

 

Sounds like you may need to do some custom fab....which is kinda to be expected. Just my .02

 

i should of expected that answer. there has been nothing easy during this build. i know i'll be kicked off this site, but sometimes i wish i would of built a chevy. i can buy anything for that right out of any magazine. but i'm a true mopar guy, so thats why i'm not giving up. i havent even started to fab up or try to find turbo headers
