Default Due to recent events..

I have found myself with $200 from doing an engine swap for some guy with my uncle. Now, some of this has to go into savings for gas so I can make it until summer and my job starts back up again.. but i figure I'll do 1 new mod with some of the cash.

Any ideas and suggestions? I was thinking new headlights.. like HIDs or anything better then stock. Is it worth it? Any other ideas?

What do you already have done? I would drop in a K&N ail filter. The HID system would cost you over $200 iirc.

I havnt done much at all.. almost everything has to wait until summer when i have steady income.

So far i installed a new head unit.. added some blue lights in the interior (lights up the floor, looks sick as hell), got custom exhaust flo pro 2.5" offset/center, and converted the windows from crank to power.

My plans for the summer are a cold air intake (K&N), probably a new throttle body, paint the fender flares and the underside of the tail bumper to match the body, maybe a lift but yooud be suprised.. i take it offroading all the time and iv never had any clearance problems at all.. its stock... but over the summer il be up in dunes offroading and all over the place mud bogging.. so we'l see. Also putting an ignition kill switch, and subs in the back of the cab. Probably a bed liner... Unfortunately I cant do any of this until my job starts back up in the summer and I have steady income but its ok to plan ahead ya know?

What are the chances that i'd be able to get a decent sub? How much $$ do you think il have to drop into that project? Any other ideas for now? Im thinking of just putting silverstar headlights in it.. my sister got htem and they look good.

you want a cheap mod for about 10.00. swap out your 195 thermostat for a 180. a cooler engine makes more power. and you will still have money to bank

Do a search on Jet t-stats. Don't get one from a parts store they are a real gamble.
